The 8 Flows
The eight flows describe natural behavioural streams that show how people move, collaborate and deploy their energy in different contexts. From these flows we reason within the DEaLkite, the kite as a metaphor.

How the 4 energies (Power, Play, Peace, Precision) come together in 8 unique behavioural flows
Results flow
Power
In the results flow, achieving concrete goals takes centre stage. People with a preference for this flow are focused on tangible outcomes and channel their energy into reaching measurable results. They take initiative, act decisively and keep their focus on what needs to happen to succeed.
Solution flow
Power
The solution flow is characterised by a strategic, problem-solving approach. Here, analytical thinking meets decisiveness. People with a preference for this flow look for effective answers to complex questions and can quickly switch between analysis and action to arrive at workable solutions.
Innovation flow
Play
Innovation flow is about exploring new possibilities and breaking through existing patterns. This flow brings creativity and entrepreneurship together. People with a preference for this flow are not afraid of change and see opportunities where others see obstacles. They combine experimentation with perseverance.
Experience flow
Play
In the experience flow, the human experience comes first. It is about making connections, sharing enthusiasm and inspiring others. People with a preference for this flow create positive energy in their environment and know how to involve others in what they do. They are focused on experiencing and creating meaningful moments.
Support flow
Peace
The support flow is characterised by reliability and care. People with a preference for this flow are there for others and ensure that processes run smoothly. They provide stability and continuity and create a safe environment in which others can excel. Their contribution is often essential but not always directly visible.
Connection flow
Peace
Connection flow is about building lasting relationships and creating harmony. People with a preference for this flow have a natural ability to understand different perspectives and bridge people. They ensure cohesion in teams and help groups collaborate effectively.
Content flow
Precision
In the content flow, depth and expertise are central. People with a preference for this flow dive deep into topics, value quality and strive for excellence in their field. They take the time to think things through carefully and deliver high-quality work through their thorough approach.
Process flow
Precision
Process flow is characterised by structure, planning and systematic work. People with a preference for this flow ensure clear frameworks and efficient ways of working. They bring order to complexity and ensure that activities connect logically. Their contribution provides predictability and manageability in execution.
Flows in practice
Every person has all eight flows. The difference lies in how naturally we can use them. Some flows feel self-evident and take little energy – these are your preferred flows. Other flows you can use well when the situation calls for it – these are your supporting flows. And then there are flows that take more effort to use effectively – these are your stretch flows.
Recognising your natural flow pattern provides insight into where your energy comes from and which contribution you make most easily. Becoming aware of your stretch flows helps you understand why certain situations ask more of you. This self-insight is valuable for personal development and effective collaboration.
