DEaLflow Method

DEaLflow is a dynamic method that works with behaviour, motivation, work energy and context. It does not put people into boxes but describes how they move between different professional directions of movement and behavioural patterns — and supports questions around collaboration, vitality, sustainable employability and team development.

    Dynamic

No static labels, but moving patterns

    Context-dependent

Behaviour changes per situation and environment

    Practical

Directly applicable in coaching, HR and teams

The DEaLflow method works as a motivation analysis, personality questionnaire, behavioural test and team tool in one. The method combines the DEaLflow analysis, the eight flows, the four professional directions of movement and the DEaLkite as a conversation framework to make development visible. The DEaLflow method shows how someone moves, where their strength lies and how development emerges — comparable to a kite that only rises when you keep moving in balance.

    The method

The DEaLflow method is a way of working that starts with the DEaLflow analysis. This analysis maps how people move between four professional directions of movement and eight flows, and provides insight into motivation, work energy and behavioural dynamics within collaboration. From these flows the link is made to the DEaLkite, with which flow conversations can be held about development, vitality and sustainable employability.

What makes this method unique is that from the DEaLkite you can look at how someone moves intrinsically and easily place this in the context of the direction in which you are moving. You see what impact this has on the context, and vice versa: how the context impacts your direction of movement.

    4 Professional directions of movement (4 P's)

Through the DEaLflow analysis the four professional directions of movement (4 P's) become clear: Power, Play, Peace and Precision. Each P represents a unique professional direction of movement with its own characteristics and motivations.

    8 Flows

The analysis also identifies the eight flows that describe how people naturally move between different behavioural patterns. Each flow has its own character, strengths and challenges.

    DEaLkite Zones

From the flows the link is made to the DEaLkite, which visualises the zones: Talent Field, Strength Zone, Resistance Zone, Adaptation Zone and Flow Zone. This provides insight into development area and motivation from energy and the flows, and forms the basis for flow conversations.
